Welcome to Blockley Cricket Club
Blockley Cricket Club is based at the Blockley Sports and Social Clubs Sparmoor ground on Station Road in Blockley, Gloucestershire GL56 9EB.
The club shares the impressive ground with the Hockey and Football sections and has three all weather net lanes where practice nights on Wednesday are held throughout the summer.
Blockley Cricket Club has two Saturday league teams with one playing in the Cotswold Hills League division 2 and the other in the Cotswold District Cricket Association division 3. The club also has a team playing on Sunday afternoons in friendly games against local teams.
The club has close links with the junior club North Cotswold Young Cricketers Club with a number of the young players playing in the senior teams.
The 1st league team has been running since 2005 and has gained promotion from division 6 to division 2 in consecutive seasons.
The 2nd team have just had their first season and the club has hopes for further promotions in the near future.
The clubhouse and changing rooms are spacious and well fitted with a large kitchen and bar area.
